Living on an island specialist services are hard to come by or non existent esp where recon gearboxes are concerned. I needed to buy recon gearbox for my Vauxhall Zafira(60 plate) which had done 80K. Having read reviews and spoken with Ben at The Gear Box Centre i decided to go with them. Their service at the start was above and beyond, they advised me what i needed and understood the problems straight away I was having with my gear box and my location. Despite being surrounded by water they quoted a very competitive price and the gear box was couriered to the Island within a few weeks of payment. Now unfortunately there was an issue with the gearbox they sent, but again the staff were brilliant they took responsibility for the issue and it was sorted out. The even spoke directly with my garage to confirm the issues This did delay things, but i understand mistakes do happen. It has taken a while to recoup my additional costs but eventually the Gear Box centre have stood by their reputation. I would definitely recommend them.
