Vintage and quaint cafe right in the heart of Faversham by the famous market. Busy and well patronized place with friendly and efficient staff. Great selection of tea, coffee, and soft drinks. They do a range of meals and lovely soup. Also a good selection of cakes and homemade scones. The building is located in amongst the medieval market buildings and is full of character. Come and enjoy the market and then have a great tea or coffee in Havershams. The cakes are homemade and very good, try their fabulous homemade Bakewell tart.
Be careful you don't get overcharged for the below average 'home cooked' food. Wouldn't recommend. It looked lovely but alas it was disappointing. Soup bland, pasta undercooked, meditarainian toasty overloaded with cheese. We where hungry and tired so we just got on with it, and then the bill came to well over 50...we complained and it was rectified with an apology. All in all rather a shame for such a nice place.
